Embrace the outdoor living trend as Woodlodge adds to its 2022 portfolio

The trend for outdoor entertaining and living continued to grow with 2021 seeing a spike in searches for outdoor living upgrades by consumers.  Reimagining outdoor spaces as extensions of the home has soared in popularity and as the 2022 season approaches.

Woodlodge is looking forward to revealing a number of new innovate designs that will further enhance their popular firepit, water feature and furniture ranges.

Introducing Emberwood

A new brand has taken shape in the form of Emberwood, which incorporates Woodlodge’s rustic fire pits, fireplaces and chimineas.

With a strong growth in the purchase of leisure products by a younger generation and families over the past 18 months which reflects the use and enjoyment of the garden as an entertaining space,  Woodlodge has added a portfolio of showstopping designs that will provide retailers with increasing sales opportunities in this growing demographic.

As more homeowners seek to bring the indoors to the outdoors, fireplaces are becoming an even hotter commodity, acting as a focal point and a social hotspot.   New for 2022 is the launch of our gas fuelled fire pits, which in an age of eco-consciousness, have many environmental benefits for consumers.  The peaceful modern shape of the Keswick and Penryn act as a favoured spot to gather with family and friends, whilst the Calder is a bold fire feature, designed to define social spaces. Other modern designs to be introduced are the Ambleside, Wembury and Windermere which blend seamlessly into any landscape, allowing for more comfortable entertaining as the evenings grow colder.

Emberwood is also adding new wood and charcoal burning fire pit designs to suit any budget, space and style, making them more affordable and therefore accessible to today’s consumers.   Sales of festival-style furniture and bohemian products have soared making the latest fire bowls a must stock item for retailers.  The steel St Austell fire bowl, whilst the Lundy and Penzance will revitalise a patio, compliment your garden and inspire the way households live.

The Boscombe and Sidford fire pits bring a real Mediterranean feel with their ornate mosaic tiles and are ideal for small spaces, whilst the  Leafbowl fire globe is a majestic centrepiece with its intricate cut out design spectacularly silhouetted in the roaring flames.

For those with smaller outdoor spaces, the Polzeath and Truro chimineas are just some of the latest additions to the Emberwood range.  The Truro with its sleek and slender profile is ideal for the urban city dweller with is modern twist. Polzeath, with its antiqued rust finish and contemporary lines is a sought-after outdoor product for garden centres to stock as consumers look to use their spaces for much longer throughout the year.

Water Studio

The recent rise in popularity for home water features and biophilic design incorporating nature into our lives has seen Woodlodge add to the Water Studio portfolio for 2022.  The plug-in-and-go water features are easy to set up,  require little maintenance and are at competitive price points, ideal for the casual consumer.

This year the collection will suit virtually every type of space, regardless of size or shape and offer tangible health benefits that go far beyond mere aesthetics.

The majestic Hera, Leto, Artemis figurines add elegance with their granite-looking sheen reminiscent of a sculpture, whilst the Rockpool water feature’s pleasant relaxation effect creates utmost harmony in the garden.

The innovative Fireball  is a sophisticated centrepiece marrying the classical elements of nature, fire and water, or for architectural effect,  the artistic Easter Island head will transport consumers straight to the Pacific Ocean.

Consumers can instantly turn their gardens into a futuristic, artistic space with the Rainfall water feature which teases the senses as it recreates the look, feel and sound of rain pouring down.   Water Studio is also proud to introduce a brand-new range of Solar water features which are both energy efficient as well as being environmentally friendly, appealing to those who want to reduce their carbon footprint.

Furniture

With holidays off the cards for the past 18 months, consumers have been in their own homes and gardens instead, leading to a phenomenal demand for garden furniture last year.  This incredible momentum is set to continue for retailers with Woodlodge leading the way with their new premium furniture offering for al-fresco living households.

Our luxurious furniture sets are practical, comfortable, stylish and perfect for large families or outdoor entertaining with friends and will be on display for orders with shipment in early 2022.

Due to customer demand, Woodlodge is launching its own premium and standard furniture covers .  Suiting all shapes and styles from round to rectangular tables, the covers are designed to protect all furniture from bistro sets to 8 seaters.  To ensure that your garden furniture stays as good as the day it was bought,  covers for outdoor living essentials such as Benches, parasols sun loungers, BBQs, chimineas and cushions have also been included in the range to give retailers the perfect opportunity to cross sell with big ticket items.

Michael Wooldridge, Director of Woodlodge said: “ Gardens are no longer just places to work in and look at. They now form part of everyday living and Woodlodge has recognised that outdoor living is now an important category in the garden retail sales market.  Our new outdoor living offering has been specially developed to ensure that our collections offer something for all tastes and budgets, are accessible to all consumers and give retail buyers a taste of on trend outdoor living products for 2022.”
