The company showcased new products for 2023 at the recent garden and outdoor living trade show which were well received by buyers and based upon current and future market trends.
The Tetbury-based company is also celebrating after scooping a Glee New Product Award for its latest launch – the EcoMade Ocean Plastic Planter, following intense pitches by General Manager, Andrew Mellowes.
EcoMade is a new sustainable brand from Woodlodge that is aimed at shoppers who are now choosing to buy from brands that they firmly believe are doing social or environmental good. Made from recycled materials and renewable resources to appeal to eco-conscious consumers, EcoMade brings innovative planter designs made from at least 89% ocean reclaimed material, recycled wood products and landfill waste. The collection of recycled pot toppers, made from recycled TV screens, seashells and rubber tyre chippings was also well received.
With colour making a big difference in the way consumers feel about their homes and gardens, the new outdoor planter partnership with Pantone, brought together by Licensing Link, will open doors to a new gardening audience who are passionate about design with beautiful and contemporary trend-led collections. Instantly recognisable with the embossed Pantone logo and with a wide consumer appeal, the planter collection is influenced by fashion, home furnishings, and industrial design.
With the interiors world seeing the return of bold colours, a trend forecast by many of the top home and style magazines, the Modern British Florals collection will boost retailers’ offerings for 2023. This new collection takes Woodlodge’s high-quality glazed planters and updates them with fresh botanical designs, inspired by the country’s gardens.
Woodlodge is also ready to drive container category growth with additions to its existing planter ranges – Heritage Garden, Blossom, William Morris, Bee Kind and Chelsea Terrace. New designs have been added to all collections, each with unique finishes that elevate the category’s sales appeal.
